Mickey & Kim purchased this new 2009-45' Newmar King Aire Friday.  This is their first go at a motor home.  Kim does wildlife photography all over the world, and together they figured out a nice motor coach would allow traveling with the entire family (dogs included) all over the lower 48.  They decided on the King Aire for several reasons, Newmar is one of a few RV manufacturers that survived the recession and gained market share, it's a very well managed stable company with an outstanding customer service reputation.  They love the open floor plan and very contemporary interior featuring Soho Cherry Cabinetry. This King Aire is powered by a 650HP Cummins ISX and an Allison 6 Speed transmission.  The exclusive steering system named "Comfort Drive" requires no effort to turn the steering wheel and always returns to center.  There is also a dial to control the steering sensitivity.  This model also has massive tank capacities: 200 gallons of fuel, 140 gallons of fresh water, 80 gallons of grey, and 60 gallons of black.
